The detail of the base seems to extend to the characteristic doors of the Dusk sideboard, adding a touch of originality and creativity to the walls it rests on, breaking up the lines, and creating an illusion of continuity and fluidity in its overall structure, thus adding a purely aesthetic role to its intrinsic function as a credenza. The doors and structure of this sideboard are made of wood, which creates an elegant whole, while the top is made of marble, wood, or ceramic.
